Benefits Navigation for PrEP and PEP

The two-day Benefits Navigation for PrEP and PEP training discusses the financial barriers to PrEP and PEP as well as current options for mitigating those barriers. The training prepares participants to systematically navigate clients through the benefits navigation process utilizing the NYC Benefits Navigation Model and applying the model through skills-based case scenarios. By the end of this two-day training, participants will also learn about the different PrEP and PEP patient assistance programs (e.g., Gilead Advancing Access Co-Pay Program, Gilead's Medication Assistance Program, Patient Advocate Foundation Co-Pay Relief, NYS PrEP-AP) and how to apply for them. Finally, participants will identify strategies for streamlining the benefits navigation process to ensure rapid access to PrEP and PEP services.
