This two-day training will provide participants with the fundamentals of motivational interviewing (MI), explore techniques for integrating MI into HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment approaches, and allow for participants to practice MI techinques with clients through role play and case study discussions. By the end of this training, individuals will be able to utilize MI to decrease ambivalence and increase the likelihood of behavior change related to HIV prevention and self-management.
