Stigma and discrimination are major barriers to the health and happiness for many people living with and most vulnerable to HIV. This one-day training will increase providers’ capacity to recognize the impact of HIV/AIDS-related stigma in order to assist individuals within their communities to access healthcare services (prevention and care). This training allows providers to explore both societal and personal biases that exist as it pertains to HIV/AIDS-related discrimination. This curriculum provides an opportunity for healthcare providers to learn from one another and work together as partners in the response to reduce HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination.
